Essentially audios that you can listen to at your computer, burn to disc, or send to your iPod. The very first podcast, a Rodpod (after the co-creator), goes right to heart of how to market AND do it successfully with the 1StepSystem.

The first point Rod Stinson makes in this 1StepSystem marketing audio is that he always has at least 3 - 5 DIFFERENT marketing methods working simulatneously. He may use newspaper ads, post cards, pay per click, drop cards, or any other method as well. The main points being that he is diversified and feeding a fairly large number of prospects into his system at any one time.

He goes on to say that with many marketing methods he adds an 800 number for the prospect to call.

Why does he do this?

Not to give the prospect more information which, of course, is done on the 800 number message. Nor is it to let his prospects hear his voice. Though that also is somewhat important. According to Rod Stinson the reason he directs his prospects to the 800 number BEFORE directing them to his 1StepSystem website is to give them an additional hoop to jump through.

What he is doing is qualifying his prospects. Some people will read the ad, be intrigued, call the number and take no further action after listening to the message. They never even visit the website or sign up for the teleseminar.

The person that is serious about earning additional money is going to call the number, listen to the message, and then take the initiative to make that additional step by visiting the website and signing up for the free teleseminar.

By the time that person listens to the teleseminar, they've already been qualified three times. The initial ad, the phone message, then the teleseminar. That is a serious prospect. Now that person may or may not join, but your conversion of # of prospects registered for the teleseminar to actual sales will be much higher because each prospect is more qualified.

I like to think of marketing as a funnel. With your initial ads and marketing you will generate the largest quantity of prospects. As they enter the funnel they reach a narrowing point - the 800 number. Here, some of the prospects are squeezed out while others keep flowing down the funnel. It gets narrower. The prospect reaches the website reads and analyzes it. Again at this point some fall out of the funnel while others flow on and register for the teleseminar.

The funnel narrows still. The remaining prospects listen to the teleseminar. Some jump out at this point. Some swirl around, not ready to take action, but not ready to depart. Others decide this looks, sounds, and feels right and decide to join.

If you fill your marketing funnel with a healthy dose of prospects on a DAILY basis FROM A VARIETY OF SOURCES, you will see healthy numbers. If you have 5-10 teleseminar registrations on a daily basis do you think you'll make some sales?

I do.

This podcast, combined with knowledge presented in The Ultimate Marketers Toolbox is priceless - it's top level training. Anyone, regardless of experience, determined to succeed can and will with this information.
